Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 29, 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of georgiacostestimating.com and the construction estimating services provided by Georgia Cost Estimating. By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services
We provide construction cost estimates, quantity and material takeoffs, bid estimates, value engineering, change order pricing, insurance/Xactimate estimates and cost consulting (the “Services”). The specific scope, fee and delivery date for each engagement are stated in the written quote or proposal you approve.
2. Quotes, Fees & Payment
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Fees are fixed per the approved quote. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due as stated on the invoice; we may require a deposit or full payment before delivery. Additional scope, added drawings, addenda or re-pricing requested after approval may be billed separately.
3. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing complete, legible and current drawings, specifications and addenda, and for clearly defining the scope you want estimated. Our work relies on the documents and information you provide; we are not responsible for errors or omissions in those documents.
4. Nature of Estimates
Estimates are professional opinions of probable construction cost based on the documents provided, stated assumptions and market conditions at the time of preparation. They are not guarantees of bid prices, contract prices or final construction costs. Actual costs can vary due to market conditions, design changes, site conditions, contractor means and methods, and other factors beyond our control. You are responsible for reviewing the estimate and for all bidding, pricing and business decisions.
5. Turnaround & Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates made in good faith. Delays caused by incomplete documents, late addenda, scope changes or events beyond our reasonable control may extend delivery.
6. Revisions & Clarifications
Reasonable clarifications of the delivered estimate are included. Revisions caused by new drawings, addenda, design changes or added scope are quoted separately.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel before work begins for a full refund of any deposit. If you cancel after work has started, fees for work completed to that point are payable. Completed and delivered work is non-refundable, except where required by law.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your documents and pricing confidential and use them only to perform the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy and Confidentiality & NDA Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you may use the delivered estimate for your own project and business purposes. Our templates, methods, cost databases and website content remain our property. Website content may not be copied or republished without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or lost-profit damages, including losses from bids won or lost based on an estimate.
11. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious files or use the site for unlawful purposes. Website information, including cost guides, is general information and not a substitute for a project-specific estimate. See our Disclaimer.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or Services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
